Temporary Resident & Super Refund

Australian is one of best destination to student, worker, immigrant and working holiday maker in the world. Thousands of temporary (foreign) residents leave Australia permanently after their short to long term employment in Australia. During their employment in Australia, they are entitled to 9.5% employer super contribution on wages.

Good news for them is they can claim their super money once they left the Australia under temporary resident leaving Australia scheme, which is known as DASP.

You need to meet below criteria to apply for super refund as temporary resident.

Must be foreign resident defined as temporary resident by tax law (permanent resident does not qualify as temporary resident)
Must leave Australia
